Cambridge American Military Cemetery - Personal Stories

There are 3812 American men and women buried at Madingley American Cemetery and 5126 names remembered on the tablets of the missing. While a few of these names such as Glen Miller and Joseph Kennedy Jr. are famous enough to be known the world over, many of those buried and remembered at Madingley American Cemetery are known only to their surviving friends and relatives, and yet they all played an equally vital role in overcoming the axis powers. Here are some of their personal stories.
